New BR model - the BR-800

Enjoyed my MBR for the last 18 months, so this would be the next logical step for me, is Mrs SE in the house, yes but I,m getting that look do you know what I mean.

I think this is what i was waiting for to move from my MBR. It actually solves all of my current recording issues like:
1. No different time signatures for drum patterns. It would be cool to have a 3/4, 6/8 and stuff.
2. Not the highest quality of mic and few vocal effects.
3. No computer integration, that is boring to mix mp3 for every time you want to hear how that will sound from speakers. Just hope that Sonar thingy will run on my Ubuntu.

i love my mbr cos i can stick it in my pocket and take it anywhere, but also for the fact that when inspiration strikes you can just switch it on a get going right away. i also use daws, but not for recording like was said earlier by the time its on and you configure the soundcard to whichever input you are using the inspiration can be gone. but having a daw is great for mixing individual tracks. but this new box looks sweet, if i ever do upgrade i would go for that but my microbr will only ever be replaced by another mbr or an upgraded version, dont think mrs orh will let me have the new one right now tho.

I think sooner or later we will all have one !!!! its bound to have better guitar patchs , drums , vocal effects and god knows what else , its built for people like us who Home record , i am saving up anyway and hoefully it wont be too much dosh !!

Yeah.. looks good... I guess the better effects and drum functions make it better than my BR-600 and my MBR.... but not sure I could justify a third BR..!!!
