Quote from: BuleriaChk on May 03, 2010, 01:30:37 PMWhat do you mean by 3/4 "off beat"? Triplets?

You can program triplet or sextuplet note groups with an external DAW like Sonar and import the MIDI file...  I have done this successfully numerous times...

Oh okay... I guess I need to pull myself out of just thinking of the presets only. Need to learn how to use the editor then.

Thanks ;)

If you want to get started, simply load a preset 4/4 pattern into the editor (or the BR, for that matter), and change the time signature to 3/4.  You can then fiddle with it and store it into a user pattern.....

Here's another new video of the BR-800. It's hard to understand what they're saying for some reason. ::)
But I thought it was worth posting because it shows the high-resolution, peak-holding level meters in action. They look pretty good. I think the BR-800 will be a real pleasure to use.

Quote from: Saijinn Maas on April 30, 2010, 05:23:16 PMSo, this has gone from being an "I want..." item, to an "I'm getting..."

Stage II of Gear Acquisition Syndrome, no?

Blooby

Stage III is the key...  Getting it by the wife. There are many methods... coercion, bribery, out right begging, asking nicely, or the extremely risky "It's better to ask forgiveness, than permission."

I am preparing my gameplan as we speak!   ;)

Man, I'd like one of these too but I can want all I like.

I'm still serving the "no birthday or Christmas presents for two years" penalty I negotiated to buy my Strat. Still have 12 months to go.  I may get some time off if I do community service (ie - keep the wife happy)!!

Is it just me, or are you other mbr owners sacred of all the options in this new toy? I mean, i had a real shock yesterday when i thought my mbr was busted (more on that later, i'm on cellphone now) but when thinking of replacing it with an 800 i got sacred. What will the expectations be if i get one of those?
I opened my beloved mbr and after some hesitation it seems like it still loves me. :)

Oh well ........

BuleriaChk

That's because you got sacred again.... at least your mbr thinks so....
But just to be sure, you'll have to ask some BR-600's and BR-900CD's to see what THEY think...

Yes, there has been a slight delay in the shipping time. I was to get my BR-800 from my brother at Roland this week.
