I wish to see this subject in a future festival

Is it possible to post my translated English version of Graeme Allwhright's "take me away" and then include it in the road song festival if it is chosen?

You're welcome to post your song whenever you like. However, it can only be included in the festival if it's posted during the festival. In the early years of Songcrafters, we used to include songs that were posted before the start of the festival. But that soon became too much work. We've had so many festivals in the past 10 years that any song that anyone posts now can easily fit into one or more of the past festivals. It would be way too much work to maintain all the festivals. Also, it goes against the spirit of the festivals. The idea of the festivals is to encourage people to record something new based on the festival's theme. We don't want people to search through their previously-recorded songs for something they can post for the new festival. Instead, we want them to record something new specifically for the festival. That's the intended spirit of the festivals. They challenge and encourage people to work on something new for each festival theme.

Sure, but it would be PunkFest 2 since we already had PunkFest in 2010. It might be fun to have another one though.

By the way, if anyone has any more suggestions for future festivals, now would be a good time to post them since the admin team will be choosing the poll choices for the May/June fests in about 2 weeks.
