I do not know much about this band... however I have a friend (DJ) from the YMCA who keeps telling me about them... and I started reading about the band... then... I was having a discussion with Zoltan about the
re release of the Rockman and how Iron Maiden used similar sounds on some of their stuff...

I could hear it... and this band does kick ass.

but to me the stars here are 1.  The bassist... he verbalizes all the words though he is not the vocalist.. 2.. the drummer... holy smokes.
3.... the singer... whoa..
and the guitar players are great.. however when you grow up listening to Michael Shencker (and at times the band does remind me of UFO and also Thin Lizzy),  Phil Gorham and Brian Robertson (to name a smidgeon)... you aren't easily impressed... long live bassists..
long live drummers...
all of this kicks booty..

This video goes hard!

this works a TREAT

um, I am a fan but not sure it is the band.. this does sound amazing to my "commercially and hook oriented ears"... but the visuals just prove that point by the good Dr. in Back To The Future... that is in the end this all just primal mating rituals... lol..

I don't know why I never heard or saw this before.. maybe it wasn't on TV here because of the "soft porn" nature of it?  not sure...

you just had to didn't you?
the band does sound great though... hats off the producers and engineers also.

and btw... I think I saw something that is now called twerking but I don't think that existed back then

Um... I don't think i saw... I mean heard this before either. But it's a real band and not AI although in some ways it looks too good to be true.

I don't have anything against great visuals.

This is commercial (although they didn't hit it that big) 80s metal and has enough cheese to scare the fun police away.

no, I didn't mean this is AI or anything like that.  What I was trying to say is "I am a fan, but more of something other than the band"

and the band too...

(The System of) Dr. Tar & Professor Fether.
Just got 3 great APP albums-"The Turn of a Friendly Card", "I Robot", and the one that this song is on "Tales of Mystery & Imagination" which was their first album in 1976 and is based on the works of Edgar Allen Poe.
I love the crap out of the Alan Parsons Project.  Absolutely everything they do is great!
