I'd heard of them, but never listened to them - yeah mighty cool.

Steve Wilson (guitar/vox) is the guy who has done all these amazing (and sympathetic) remixes of old stuff. Eg, Jethro Tull's back catalogue. I listen to the Steve Wilson remixes now rather than the originals.

I was lucky enough to see Porcupine Tree supporting Dream Theater some years ago at the Hammersmith Odeon.  Or was it Wembley?  Either way it was a hell of a double bill.  I agree, Andy, the Tull remixes are awesome and are my go to versions, although I can't bring myself to part with the £50+ for the Bursting Out Inflated remix by Stephen Wilson.

I quite like Porcupine Tree but even better IMO is Steven Wilson's solo stuff. I'd recommend checking some of it out too. More mellow and chilled but very inventive.

Maybe I'm already late to the party, I don't know. I just heard him today for the first time on FB and followed the trail back to YouTube. I like him and I think Woody, Arlo and Bob would like him. It seems like we're back in that kind of place again. You might like him too...

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Should have mentioned, I absolutely do not applaud or endorse the recent murder of the United HealthCare CEO.  Now I am on Medicare, which is wonderful but this comes after spending most of a lifetime struggling with the system designed to make as much money as it can out of our basic healthcare.

Great song, hooper - I hadn't seen this one yet, but it's certainly timely and the truth in the States. United Health has the highest rate of denials (over 30%!), and the others aren't much better. It's a crime that this is even legal or acceptable in this country.

My first reaction was, "What the hell is Bruford doing playing simple shuffle shit like this?" I should have waited 10 more seconds.
