Update - Sample should be located here.

Don't know if you folks with Apple products have stumbled on this yet, but I can heartily recommend Bebot (with apologies to Gnasty). It is a Kaossilator-like app, which actually allows you to alter the timbre and a few simple effects. There is no function for looping as far as I can tell.

Basically, you tickle the robot's belly, and he expels all sorts of sounds (not really, but for our purposes here...).

Have a great holiday.

Here'a video with Jordan Rudess where he does a good job of explaining the app.

Haha!...No offense taken!!

These apps are definitely cool to use for recordings. I admit that i would use them if i had one of these gadgets, and like i said its entertaining at first but it loses my interest after watching him do it for a minute. It`s sort of like guitar hero to me. Some people think they are actually musicians because they play apps and video games..It`s puzzling :-\ but i am just one mind voicing an opinion :D

Happy Holidays to you too Bloob

I was actually playing devil's advocate.  You know from my recordings that I'm very much into improvisation and the happy accidents that occur when real human beings interact.  But there's the other side of me that likes to go squeedlee-dee with a Kaossilator.

I can't deny my squeedlee-dee side.

And don't forget, you can use any body part, doesn't have to be the finger all the time...makes it more interesting that way.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

You got something there BB. These apps can go well in strip joints across the country.

Apps played by boobies and snail trail. We `ll be rich with this idea. Featured dancers are reborn again ;D

Now would these mobile devices be shared?  Because that really is a game-changer for me.

Probably not a good idea. It might make an STD app disease become real.
