I agree about the solo, It was unusual to get the verse and the bridge.
I was also interested in the mic and setting. Nice tone.

Geez Lest G I hope your fingers get better.  Must be careful about them.  I used the sony edsop or something or rather condenser mic. really small. It is a stereo thing.  I don't know if there were any effects on.  All I did was plug it in and turn the reverb up to about 80.  I liked everyones take on this.  I am so very inspired now.

Blues Your background fills were really great. I couldn't tell when you switched from major to minor. Very smooth

48 Got to love  yours your my teacher. LOL

GlennM  I can tell you have played country before.  Great harmonies and great sound.

Satchwood. You totally amazed me , the way you usually shredd stuff. LOL I liked your tone. and the talking guitars I like to do that too!!, It was great to have you participate.

Lest G You really had some nice triplet in there. That tells me I need to practice more on them.  I like the more simple approach you gave. Great job\\

A very big thank you to all of you who participated.  Gives me lots to think about and so cool how everyone has their own style.  Maybe I can post my own version after a few more lessons.  And you guys all have me thinking out of the box.  How did a country girl end up learning to play blues. LOL Thanks again!!

I found it!  I knew I had seen a Patsy Cline Wiley song somewhere'z!

GREAT JOB on this, Wiley.  It's a perfect fit for your great voice.  Incredibly well sung, and a hard song to sing.  I don't even think it needs any lead guitar, although I did dig the offerings of 48, LESTG, BB and Satchwood.

Well done, everyone! :)

Just found this thread and wow, great stuff all round from everyone. Too short of time for individual comments but you all did a great job. This is not my kind of music, but knowing it's PJ singing this plus some great guitar licks (and different styles all round) made this very enjoyable. Very cool collab, well done all.

Cheers,

Nigel
