I was going to post this song at some point in time, but you all seem so fun.  I always thought Patsy was more blues than country. That's one reason I wanted to learn guitar. She was one that inspired me the most for country and blues. Anyway to make a long story short, I am posting hoping that all you blues or whoever  would maybe fill in the lead.  Then I have something to strive for in my practicing.  All the different styles etc. You are all so good.  I am sure it will give me lots of ideas. Her songs are hard to sing to. She had such a range, and I am limited in that department.  So excuse any bad sounds and just concentrate on a lead please. Please feel free to add anything, Harmonies etc.  And to all you new players out there give it a wack if you want to. I know I am at some point in time.  Thanks ahead for everything. Am anxious to hear what some of you might come up with.

Hey Wiley, this is really stunning ( I don't hear any bad sounds from your vocal, just wonderful singing).  It is not really blues (traditional blues), but I see your point about this song being bluesy.  Country blues I guess.  I am going to download this and play with it this weekend and see if I come up with something worth posting.  Believe it or not, this sounds like a tricky song.  Any idea what key is is in?  I like your idea of posting this and inviting many folks to try to come up with a guitar solo, very cool idea.  Lets see how many versions we get, I would love to hear all the variations.  Thanks for doing this Wiley, I am going to try for sure.  Who else is going to give a go.

Satchwood

You've got a very nice voice wiley!!

This isn't my natural-style, but I might "think outside my box" and give it a go.

48 did a superb job on the bluesy solo - kudos Mike!!

Also, I won't be able to get to it right away because I have to fullfil some other musical & non-musical obligations.

Awesome, I was hoping you would join in Satch, thinking outside the box is what this one is all about, that and let Wileys voice inspire.  I hope a few other folks take up this "outside the box" challenge.  Great fun to hear what others come up with.
