64 got a new recorder and I thought it would be the perfect time for a collaboration. We have been working n this one for a few weeks. Lots going on and I think 64 nailed it. Thank you brother for all the effort you put into it. I did the uke, bass, vocals and drums(garage band) 64 did everything else. I mixed mostly on the Br80 and mixed vocals in and mastered on the br800.
1 uke (stere)
1 bass
1 drums (stereo)
1 vocal (stereo)
64guitars
1 acoustic guitar
1 chorus chords
1 chorus octave guitar
1 chorus synth(stereo)
1 intro synth & outro(stereo)
1 Lead guitar
1 strings (stereo)
1 synth ARP (stereo)
1 synth breaks(stereo)
I said to 64 when he agreed to play on this, "let's do too much" and we certainly did...and I love it!

I didn't know the time was right
I didn't know I had to have all the answers
When I don't even have half
& I doubt I'll be much wiser with the next day passed

I didn't realize that we were on the outs
I didn't see your pain until I heard your shouts
I wonder if it's true that from
pain and hurt love will sprout

I kinda doubt the wisdom of our decisions
I often think perhaps we took the wrong path
I don't trust anyone who has no regrets
regret is the only time I trust the bet

I didn't plan on the consequences
I failed History and didn't catch the references
& I spend my days straddling fences
That are just to far apart

I didn't expect my past to catch up to me
I didn't contemplate not aging gracefully
I wonder if the little joy I have
will soon turn into complacency

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Wow this is a huge sound, and the mix sounds great! Some songs stumble with 3/4 timing, but this flows along very naturally. Cool playing, words and vocal Hook. 64, the guitar riffing in the background works wonderfully as does the synths. There are so many cool things happening here that I'm going to have to listen to this several times to take it all in. Well done Hook and 64!!!!!!!

Hook and 64,thats what I like to see.
This is so catchy,I had it on my car and played it about 6 times one after another.
That catchy riff will be in my head all night.
Almost celtic when it kicks in.
Instruments are well balanced and clear in the mix.
The vocal performance is  top notch,Elvis Costello meets Frank sinatra.
A really great collab,hugely impressed

Nice collaboration and a great song. Love the music all round. Yeah it has that Celtic vibe but the powerful vocals are almost soulful.

The 2nd one is for my other musical projects and collaborations. (DarrenG)

Holy smokes. Great post. Love that stately bagpipey theme, and the production is killer.
