Yep ... yet another song with Maggie in the title ....

Hey Maggie come on over, I used to call you Margaret
We can have a few drinks, a little chat
Maybe share the odd funny cigarette
Hey Maggie come on over, I used to call you Margaret
We can play kings and queens I'll be Louis XVI
You can be Marie Antoinette
Got a couple of movies got some old CD's
Got some vintage Gladys Knight
But Maggie, hell I'm missing you tonight

Hey Maggie come on over, I used to call you Margaret
I still remember you practicing your ballet
Watching every point and every pirouette
Hey Maggie come on over, I remember when we met
I still got your name and number scribbled quickly
On that restaurant's white serviette
And I still recall you lean against the wall
That morning that we had our last fight
But Maggie, hell I'm missing you tonight

Hey Maggie come on over
No need to play hard to get
Hey Maggie come on over
And I'll be always in your debt

Hey Maggie come on over, I'll even call you Margaret
I'll do anything you want, be your slave
Be your puppet be your crazy dancing marionette
You can stay for as long as you like
Just a couple of hours or till the morning light
But Maggie, hell I'm missing you tonight

Finally, the long awaited return of Ray

With a beautiful and nostalgic song

Welcome back home Ray, looking forward to doing a song with you
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Such warmth to the vocals! The playing sounds beautiful and the way the song builds takes the breath away. I really liked the lyrics also. The storyline is great.
The way you're using instrumentation to build the song / arrangement is an masterclass in itself.

Perfect! Everything's perfect. Wonderful music, vocals, lyrics, storyline, I love it!

Dig the build-up, harmonious rhythm acoustic guitars parts, key change(?) or whatever at about 3:30 and bass solo? Damn, this is a fine song! 8)

The acoustic sounds so good Ray. Lovely words and I like how the song picks up a bit when the bass and drums enter. I like your relaxed delivery on the lead vocal. The mid interlude is a cool production reset. A real nice song Ray!

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Woe, This is a classy song . The vocals are superb and the storytelling just grabs you like a good book. Tremendous stuff, love it

really love the harmonics.  There is so much good music in here to hear.  The main riff is infectious.  Draws you right in.  Kind of like the Eagles and Little River Band could do.  Hints of the great sounds Fleetwood Mac used in here.  That would be the keys, the way they add in and the acoustic together, the chiming sounds.  This is pro studio, pro musician stuff here.  Your voice is the cherry on top.  It's a great ice cream sundae on a hot afternoon.  It's a cool dip in the lake in a hundred degree summer day.  It's a warm fire on a cold night.
