We have had a couple major snowstorms in the last two weeks. Walking in the woods, in the deep white silence, inspired this song. How the birds and wild animals survive i don't know. Played on my High Spirits Double Flute in E.

Just drove back from work over the queens view on stockiemuir road it was scary thick snow but just for about a quarter of a mile, everywhere else snow fell as rain/sleet. spose cos Queens view is so high up. Anyway i digress. Totally chilled out hearing this, and Pine where the hell have you been. Missed you big time bro!

A lovely tune. Very atmospheric and certainly seasonal. I love the haunting sound of the flute. Nicely done, JMc

Pure marvel! it drips in the ears and it changes CHICK-BOOOM-CHICK.

I'm intrigued by this double flute and it's the same HERE.

Thanks guys. Out of the loop for so long. Glad you "Old Timers" are still here and posting.

James...i have no excuses other than my energies were directed elsewhere. The homestead. Woodworking. My muse gave up on me and rightfully so...

JT...those flutes look ok but the reviews are not impressive. NA flutes are wonderful instruments. I would maybe keep shopping. Many makers.

So Good to hear you play again Pine , i can only dream of how it must be to walk in the woods were nobody else lives or walks , it would probably scare the sh"t out of me , you still have a wonderful touch to your instruments which is in your core skills, very haunting and thoughtful , but best of all is to listen to "one of the coolabbers" again , fond memories of all the guys and gals on the site , great to here from you may you have a wonderful 2021

This so peaceful and skillfully done Pine! I could see the image of you walking on the fresh snow, in silence, with just a few birds chirping.......beautiful brother! I hope your (and mine) seventieth year is a great one for music and life!

This comes across like the soundtrack for a Shaman in the wilderness. That flute sound seems so spiritual and tied to nature. I like how it mirrors the breathing and has a deep, low drone going on. It sounded incredible on headphones.

Brilliantly done.

Great to have you back!
