Dunny: Thanks so much for the kind words. There probably a good 500 acres of woods around my cabin with no roads or houses. Lots of room to wander and enjoy the solitude of nature...especially now that deer hunting season is over. You said "memories" of coolab...so i'm assuming it no longer exists? Guess i'm not surprised. All things in their time as has been said...

Thanks Hook...peaceful and tranquil is what you always get from the Native American flutes. Melancholy minor scales. It's nice to be back here again...missed alot of your posts without a doubt. Lots of catching up to do.

Farrell...the image you got was spot on. The solo sections were the occasional Jay calling and a stream of sunlight. 70 soon for you too eh? well, with our new bionic knees, we'll give it hell. Great to see you still at it Farrell. It was you who mentored me into the world of internet music 15 years ago. You've been endlessly supportive of others, no matter what their skill levels. Thanks for being who you are.

Greeny...the NA flutes are spiritual and speak the language of the natural world, which is what drew me to them years ago. They're very expressive, easy and fun to play. This post was just a one track recording. The "drone" you mention is the right flute, which has no holes and just drones in E; moving from the left side to include the drone on the right side is a bit tricky but like anything, it just takes a bit of practice. Thanks for stopping by...so cool that you are still here and still making music. Actually, i'm not sure you could ever stop. You're a true musician.

Glad to hear you post again brother I see another storm heading your way so I guess we might hear more from you. Spirit flutes are aptly named as you not only hear the notes but feel them also. Yes cool lab died a slow death at the end it was only me and Pual. As with most sites there is a lack of younger musicians that want to play real music much easier to sample instruments
Anyway outstanding playing
Tim
Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Thanks Tim. I had a feeling cool lab was no longer around. Fun while it lasted. Kinda like our lives... hopefully. You're right about feeling the NA flutes and not just hearing them. I attribute much of that to the fact that they are all wood. I find the cedar models to offer the most warmth. Gotta check out your jukebox.

beautiful...and snow is beautiful....but dang it's cold and when I get to go visit my sisters in Syracuse I enjoy it for a week or two, sliding down hill like a kid again...., for about a week and my bones are chilled and I can't wait to get back south.....
wow...so glad you are back...not that I knew your music before but I have been on the site since August last and have seen your name a time or two....
