No !! You'll just have to take the night-shift and get that old king out of your system ;D

Funny the insistence should come from you.  I've started working on it, and I keep hearing the first line as "King went a-runnin' after Geir."

I'm thinking I'll do the drums, bass, and vocal parts but try to recruit someone for the banjo (or settle for a guitar if a banjoist is unavailable).

Tonight I finished the drum arrangement first, per my usual MO--and managed to make the Micro BR to do the 5/4 and 6/4 measures in the song!  How, you ask?  Commit to lay down some banjo and I'll tell you.

LOL ... as long as it's not Elvis (I think he has left the building ::) ) I'll just draw my Viking sword and fight him back 8)

Ferryman_1957

Well I finally started work on Powderfinger, so I hope the festival isn't ending soon. But listening to the guitar this morning I will have to redo it all cos I don't quite like the guitar effect I used (too much compression). And I also have a sinus infection, so the singing might have to wait (altho that might actually make it sound better...).

I want to know, I love all your drum tricks. I can't commit to lay down any banjo, but I could commit to lay ON a banjo. Would that count?

Cheers,

Nigel
