I was noodling and came across this riff, so I thought I'd have a crack. Almost got there, but my singing is dreadful and after 5 attempts I gave up and Asked Tim if he would do it.

He turned the noodle into a song, I owe Tim a debt of gratitude. thanks Tim.

I have always loved this track, I bought the CD when it came out and CDs were new. Now I want the vinyl.

Thanks to Mr Jackson.

This is some of the gear that I used to created this track.

Tim used a MicroBR.

This is a super cover of one of my fav. 80's artist, Joe Jackson. You both (Flash Music and Tim vocals) did a very respectable cover of Stepping Out. A great keys/synth set up Flash Harry and to think, all those vocals came from a MicroBR....amazing vox and music!

Fantastic cover, guys. Love that sequenced synth, and the icy tones from the piano and pads - and the amazing vocals.

And that studio pic! Holy shit, Mike - that looks like a great place to play.

Well done, gents!

Great job guys. I love those synth tones.

The studio's great too. It even has a gold record on the wall! What's the story behind that?

The gold single is Roxy Music's Avalon, I wish I could say that I had a part to play in the track, but the real story is that Mrs Flash was a huge Bryan Ferry fan in the '80s and I was given it in return for some work I did in a friend's record shop.
Still, it's nice to have.

It's really nice. Away from the house, soundproofed and comfortable.

Brilliant cover - the backing is spot on and a great vocal.

Whenever I hear this song it takes me back to being in a clothes shop in 1982 buying some blue oilskin pegged trousers with my girlfriend (now Mrs C). Sounds strange but they seemed to be very trendy at the time and a bit pricey. I guess the song must have been playing in the shop at the time!
