Ha ha! That partridge sketch has a bit of me in it! Too close to the bone!

Best bass riff would be "Three button hand me down" by the Faces.  The whole song is a bass riff.

I believe that Ron Wood played it even though Ronnie Lane was the Faces bass player.

Oh yes!

And yes, it does sound more like Ron Wood than Ronnie Lane (and he was the bass-player in his previous band, The Jeff Beck Group).
