It was a great set, and played fabulously, they hardly stopped all night, on and on. Nils Lofgren is a guitar god.

The guy who plays sax who I assume is Clarence's son Jake, plays a mean horn. The whole thing was fantastically moving and brought me to tears more than once.

Bruce was full of energy, and you could see that he absolutely loves performing. He went crowd surfing at one point - not bad for a 60 something guy, still very fit and not someone you'd want to pick a fight with.

The new Leeds arena feels surprisingly intimate, bass was a bit muddy, but that probably was due to the amount  of kick drum that was put through the PA.

The only down side was £3.80 for a can of John Smiths. Bleargh!

Fab gig, fab music, fab performance. Just fab.

No, I guess you wouldn't, I remember paying the equivalent of £18 for four cans of beer of dubious heritage from the supermarket near your hut, so £3.80 for a can of equally dubious beer would seem to be non-understandable. However, from Sainsburys, 24 cans will cost you less than £15 some weekends which makes £3.80 look like vulgar profiteering.

Lots of audience participation in this one. I think I heard Flash Harry singing his heart out.
