I recorded this in 2008 in response to oldrottenhead's wish list. He provided the vocals for it. At the same time, hooper also recorded the same song with oldrottenhead on vocals. Somehow, I thought it would be weird to have two versions of the same song with the same singer posted at the same time, so I didn't post it here. Also, I was waiting for oldrottenhead to send me a separate vocal track so I could remix it, but we both got distracted with other things and that never happened.

Anyway, I wanted to test Google's new Google Drive web storage which was announced today and I thought I'd use this file. I'm also attaching the file to this message so it will appear in my personal jukebox, so please excuse the dual players.

More info on Google Drive here:  https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=15051.0;topicseen

Update: The player with the google-hosted file doesn't seem to be working for anyone but me, so it looks like Google Drive won't be suitable for song posts afterall. But it's still useful for collaborations. You can use that free 5GB of storage for WAV files of your tracks so that the other people you're collaborating with can download them and import them into their BR or DAW.

I've never posted it at Songcrafters before but I did post it at alonetone in March 2011. You commented there.

I guess Google Drive might not be suitable for song posts here afterall. I think that ridiculously long URL may have something encoded into it that identifies me (like my IP address or Google ID) so that it only works for me.

I've tried shortening the URL some more, removing the other parameters ("?e=download" and "hash"). It still works for me. Is it working for anyone else now?

Oh well. I guess Google Drive is no good for song posts then. But it would still be useful to anyone doing collaborations. SkyDrive offers more free space (25GB), but it's always nice to have an extra 5GB available. I'm not sure which one's easier to use. I suspect it will be Google Drive since they offer a drag & drop app for Windows and Mac (but not Linux). With the app installed on your computer, I believe you can upload files by merely dragging them to an icon on your desktop.
