Hi all!  Sorry I've been absent for couple of months.  Just recorded this song this morning on my 1928 Weissenborn. tuned to open D.  I usually play it bottleneck style on the National but I really wanted to hear how it sounded w the Weiss resonance.  I hope you like it!  DD

Thank you all for the great reviews!  I thought you'd dig the Weiss.  I posted an original instrumental using it as well.  Even more tone!  I'm looking forward to checking out some of your new songs as well.  Thanks again.  Cheers!  DD

Very nice DD !
I like seeing  people play a well known song and put it in their style of playing.
Well done.Nice sounding guitar and slide.

Was the Weissenborn actually made in 1928 ? Could you tell us a bit about it ?

Cheers

Also one of my favorite Hendrix tunes and I really love this arrangement. Your playing is clean and wonderful and your voice just fit the bill perfectly. Nice job!
Rock on!
