Yes, but with one important difference. With the Micro BR, you can only use the preset patterns in your arrangements. The BR-864 has similar preset patterns but also lets you create your own patterns. That's what I did for this recording. I had to because it's in 3/4 and there are no preset patterns in 3/4. But when you create your own patterns, you can use any time signature you like.

I think the Micro BR is the only BR that doesn't let you create your own patterns. The BR-80 and BR-800 don't let you create your own patterns within the BR but they let you do it on the computer and use those patterns on the BR in your arrangements. The BR-800 uses the BR Rhythm Editor, and the BR-80 lets you import standard MIDI files as drum patterns. The BR-864/600/900 etc. let you create and edit your own patterns right in the BR, though they can also use the BR Rhythm Editor.
