This is so tight and taut. Kind of gives me an XTC feel. It's very fine stuff, and a bit of a play with the vox to make them more dynamic would work a treat. It's such a beautifully paced and performed song though - serious quality.

I'm with OsCKilO on the vox.  1st is better, just remix and bump it up a tad.  VERY nice sing!  Love the contrast between the part syles!

Here's my third attempt. I did what you all said and used the original vocal, but pushed the level up a tad and dug it out from under all the reverb and chorus I was using to hide it.  Also I left in the higher octave chorus part in the background.  Thanks for the feedback in helping me get the song right (ish).
