The mids of the Oboe are a force to be reckoned with. But id go with the french horn I had to pick symphonic "mids"  Thats a great song BTW.

Me too. Heard this a million times back in my band directing days and never get tired of it. Percy Grainger was a genius. Lincolnshire Posy is my favorite. I still look forward to those french horns shouting through with a counter melody. Thanks for posting this!
