Yes do like some Robin Ford...

After listening to your suggestion this came up...  a thing Robing Ford had going with a couple of other guys. I think the drummer (brilliant) was with Jeff Beck for a while... sounds good!

Post too much?  nah!  first off thanks for sending me this... I really dig the cymbals first off... vocally they sound almost like a rockin version of motown which I dig a ton...that bass sounds wicked, that 80's bass tone that was so good...
the backing vocals rock.... rockin guitars.... at times sounds a little like James Young from Styx singing... which is crazy rockin goodness.
what a band and what a message....

My new (accidental) album. I've done gone back to school to finish my degree and was able to do an album for a class project.

3rd Secret dropped their album (and also announced they were a band) a couple of weeks ago with no notice. I'm really digging the album.

Judie Tzuke

Woah!!!

Anyone else have fond memories of her in the late 70s?

I had "Welcome To The Cruise" and "Sports Car" on vinyl (and the live album).

I saw her live a couple of times. I had a long chat with her after one gig - I think it was her first UK headlining tour. I was local "crew" doing the get-out, and she recognised me from the audience.

I kinda went off what she was doing in the mid 80s.

The other day I decided to get her box set from 2018, Full Moon. It turns out she just kept going. And...

Omigoodness!

This one was her big hit from the first album (although I preferred others, check out For You, and Bring the Rain, and the title track), but blow me down, her post 80s stuff is RIGHT UP THERE. Still don't like the sounds on the 80s albums, but everything she's recorded is fabulous. Just finished listening to Wonderland from 1992 - I possibly prefer that to the first two... and I didn't even know it existed!!

But here's what she calls her "hit"
