Modified - What is the "frequency" setting for on my Korg tuner?

I guess it's "Pitch".  I mistakenly wrote "Frequency" because it's indicated in Hz.

What should the standard / default setting for "Pitch" be in order to tune EADGBE?

Middle C conventionally is 440 Hz. There is also a thing called concert pitch, but stick to 440 and most other things (synths, pianos etc.) will be with you.
