New to all of this. Need help please!

If someone could help me out with this problem, i would really appreciate it.

I am currently making a song, and for some reason, tracks 3 and 4 have combined themselves. so i can no longer change their volumes independently. on the track volume adjust screen they look like...

volume
track 3  track 4
    100= 100

Also, the tracks can no longer be panned independently either. I have read most of the instruction manual through and though, but there doesn't seem to be an explanation. What has happened? And how do i undo it? Am i just stupid? Let me know. Thanks
