Is that you, you're describing Ted?  Is this your story as well?

Strange thing memories - the sounds in the playground and market place,  The warm sea breezes as the surf crashes into the shingle shoreline.  The smell of sulphur as the fire demons stoke the fl....?  Whoops that'a not one of mine.....Or is it?

you not only take it to the edge, you dangle your toes over into the abyss.

second cut reminds me of Ken Nordine's "Truth Mute"

Nah. But the background voices reminded me of a Hotel Lobby, and I found myself thinking of the Holiday Inn I stayed in earlier this year in Washington DC, and then the rest of the image and story came to me like a dream.

Oh what a shame.  I was thinking you may have had some memories dislodged - but dreams are good - Didn't Macca have them?  Ah Yesterday - if I could only remember mine. :)

Hovering on the edge - I just hope no-one's around to give the extra push. :)

I see ghosts...with cowboy hats on when listening to the second version. Robert Rodriguez could probably use this in his next film.

A very enjoyable listen!!!
Nice job!!!

When had the idea for this it was an experiment in form (musical idea) and although I quite liked it I wasn't sure about posting it at all.  So thanks to you all for sparing a few minutes of your time to listen to my musings.  Very much appreciated.

Great ambient feel, a little worrying but not scary. It's a bit like the the movement you see from the corner of your eye only there's no one there when you look. Liked this a lot.........Willie

Thanks Willie,  This wasn't meant to be scary, but unsettling, and I think your comment sums more succinctly than I did.

I didn't start off with that idea, it was only after playing with mixes that it came to me.

Almost ghostly with a lack of definition, so that the listener could interpret what they hear, based on their own imagination.  Then I thought about adding voices, audible, but not so that you could quite hear what they were saying.  And then I spoiled it by posting the wrong version first!  Duh!

Thanks
