Great lyrics Jim. You gotta love the creativity that comes along with engineered food and Halloween.

I really like what you've done with it.

The vocals seem a little too obviously tacked on top of the track. I think a remix of this could give it a live feel. Sorry, but I have no specific suggestions on how to achieve what I mean, but... Do you know what I mean?

I know what you mean, maybe over my guitar break, and a "run run run" background vocal would be cool.
Thanks Ted

Nice clean music to put a vocal over, and then it gets hairy, then clean again.  Very punk.

Good fun - well done.

I'm with Ted, I like the direction but the vocals are not sitting well with the rest of the mix, they are too prominent for me. The "Better run run run" sounds very tentative, like you are holding back because the vox are already a bit loud.... Some of the spoken bits work nicely, but overall the vox are a bit too dominant. Perhaps try toning down the reverb, or double track your vox and have one track with reverb and one dry so you can change the mix in different parts of the song?

Sorry to be negative, hope you don't mind. The music is great, there's real potential here but it needs a bit more work IMO.

Cheers,

Nigel

Kenneth

Thanks for the comments guys, you're right, hopefully we'll get around to fixing this up, if you feel it's a good potential.

That's pure rock! Ken, you write fantastic rock tunes! I like the rough sounds. Fine job by James, too!!
