slight problem... dunno how to fix?

basically i have an equals symbol = between v1 and v2 which i cant get rid of.  It means everything i do to track 1 (adjust volume etc) happens to track 2 aswell. I dont know what ive done to do this.

Anyone help?

You have stereo linked the tracks check out page 41 of the manual

press the two tracks at the same time to seperate them. ie if track 1 and 2 have the = sign between them press track 1 and 2 simultaneiusly and the equal sign will go away. to get it back do the same, there may be times you want to record in stereo ie via a line in or drum machine.

you get full stereo recording. record to track 1 and 2 pan track 1 full left and track 2 full right. voila full stereo recording.
