I've had a dream of making a vinyl record for a very long time. Well for the last 12 years I've been in the vinyl industry, but alas no records. On the new BR800 there's this cool old vinyl record effect complete with scratches and noise and wow and flutter :D ... I just couldn't resist using them on this one.

Magnificent, it all works so wonderful, thats all I want to say.  Beautiful Geir, at this point in time this is my favorite of all the Beatlesfest posts.  I want to take you home with me, put you in my closet and pull you out for parties and the like (I mean that in the nicest way).  All joking aside, this is simply beautiful, perfect the way perfection has a way of being perfect, you know what I mean?

Sweet and mellow.  Vinyl effect does give it good "age", like a wine.  Would like to also hear the non-vinyl version, though.  There's a special on TV I saw recently in which McCartney played the White House, and he got this grin on his face and said "There's a song I've just been itching to play at the White house ever since this president got elected", then played Michelle to the audience, including Michelle Obama.  President Obama obviously knew the song and was singing along serenading her as well.

Did I hear "monkey" at 0:31?   ;)

Nice job, as always, Geir. The vinyl effect is pretty cool, though I think I'd have preferred if it was reduced a bit so it doesn't distract from the song as much.

I just found a medley of "Act Naturally" and "What Goes On" by the Elderley Brothers.

So that means "Rubber Soul" is now complete!  :)

Here it is in its entirety:

This is wonderful. Personally, I love the vinyl feel. It makes it sound like an old jazz record that's been in the attic for 90 years, and adds to the vintage flavour of the songwriting (along with your beautiful jazz guitar work...). Yet again, you've come up with the goods. Love it!

I love it!  :)

With your baritone voice and all the pops & scratches on it, the first few bars brings to mind Maurice Chevalier, circa 1926! It's a little difficult to identify all the instruments (especially on these crappy little laptop speakers), but it sounds like a ukulele and electric guitar arrangement? Can't wait to listen to it on decent speakers and headphones (very soon).

A perfect closer to 'Rubber Soul' - well done, Geir!  8)

After a good listen on speakers, it sounds like an acoustic guitar, not a uke.

Very jazzy, and tres bien ensemble!  ;)
