This was recorded a few weeks ago, but I didn't want to flood the board :D so I restrained myself ... a bit .. ::)

THIS song killed my voice ... lost it for two days when I had finished it .... I really should learn how to sing properly ;D

Oh man, what a wonderful morning listen this is, Geir.  :)

Loved all the attention paid to detail, right down to organ and maracas (egg shake) - and that bass is pure Macca! The harmonies on this song are terrific, and not easy to do - at least not the ones in the upper registers.

I'm almost done with my 'Rubber Soul' contribution - just need to add final lead and harmony vocals and then final-mix it.  I hope to retain my voice afterward (wanna get at least one more in, too)...  ::)

It sounds terrific with headphones Geir. Excellent harmonizing on the vocals. I'm impressed with what you have done with the MBR. You consistantly rock!
How long did it take you to put all this together?

This one took some hours ! At least on the harmony vocals .. I recorded them (and re-recorded ... and re-recorded ... :D ) over a few days ....

The piano/organ was done very fast ... just barely learned how to play it and recorded them. All done in about half an hour.  The guitars are first or second take the bass took a few more :D The main vocals was the best out of three takes before my voice was gone :D So I guess 6-7 hours total time spendt on this song.

Another Rubber Soul belter, and you've done this magnificently. That's a very hard vocal to do - a real Lennon 'throat shredder', but you nailed it beautifully. Great harmonies, and I love the spiky, percussive groove you get going. Brilliant organ touches too. You're the man!

Brilliant Geir, stunning harmonies and a fabulous production. It just sounds so well put together my jaw hit the desk while it was playing. Amazing.

Cheers,

Nigel
