This is my first time up. Congrats on a brilliant site for a brilliant machine.
Ive had this unit for a while and got some good results but can anyone explain to me how to back up a song on the computer without first converting to mp3. ie: retaining all 4 tracks and relative recording info ,so I can retrieve everything at a later date to edit, re record,  add to etc.

connect your mbr to your pc or put your sd card into a slot on your pc.
when you open the card it has to folders mp3 and roland. open up the roland folder, now folder called bro appears open that
 and you have all the song folders. drag and drop your songs onto your pc, and you can then delete them from your card creating space, if you want to work on a song at a later date drag it back into the bro folder on your sd card. hope that makes sense.

Hey ,Thanks for the reply,
I was doing as you said before but when I retrieved the bro files they wouldn t show on the BR.I must have been doing something wrong or a problem with cables or computer.
Id like to blame the machinery but its more likely to be
a) My poor knowledge of all things tech ..or
b) Stupidity..or
c) All of the above
