Ahhhhh, C is very nice! Very difficult to keep in tune, but you delivered as usual, bro! Your makeshift percussion always amazes me - I'm assuming your whiskey bottle case is one of those cardboard tubes. Very cool, anyway.

Gman rocks!!

It takes a brave man to try and pull this off without a sitar virtuoso and George Martin on hand, lol. Luckily there's a full-on genius delivering it. This is stunning, Geir. A towering, shimmering thing of beauty. Oh my word.

Still my favorite of the Fest. At least so far...  ;)
Love it!   :)

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Your mastery of the Beatles catalog runs deep, very deep.  Your endless skills enable this.

Thank you so much for the overwhelming respons to this and the other songs Ive posted durirng this fest. I'll try slowing down a bit now. ;D

Blooby pm'ed me and asked if I could make a mix without the percussion, wondering if it would have a more free-time trippy feel to it without the drums ....

Well I gave it a try and it did indeed sound different.... and got a slightly different feel ... The drums were in the first bounces so I had to build it up from the basic tracks again, so the mix is slightly diffent from the first one, not only the lack of drums.

 anyway here it is,

and if anyone with some real drums/percussion wanna add something ... please feel free! I know a few of you have both the talent and the gear ;D

C is difficult to keep in tune indeed, so a tuneup between each take is a must :)

Yep ... cardboard tube indeed, with some aluminium lid in each end, I took one off and tapped the other one ;D

Thank you so much for the remix.

Not to detract from the earlier post (because I thought that was stellar as well...just different), but the vocals are forced to take center stage with the sparser instrumentation on this one.

I am really loving this.  This is perfect late night/early morning music.

Thanks again.

Yeah the original with the percussion was amazing , and i have to agree with blooby the this version brings out the vocals.
