floating away on a salty breeze, thats what I hear.  It like music heard at the beach, the original source over on the other side, the song drifting in the breeze.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

CooL tune Jim for sure!!  Just enjoyed watching your video!

Wow, Jersey folks like to do alot of things on your NJ Turnpike:  congregate, read, warm themselves with bond fires, roast marshmellows, catch flights, watch sunsets, lol

geez, i definitely like the side of the road that you were on, the other side was more like a parking lot.

Was in NJ  a lot of years a ago in Atlantic City, my ex wife had some relatives there, when,t on holiday once not far from the boardwalk and the gambling, really freaked me out when he got his gun out with the bullets and said " anyone come,s in here they they,ll some lead", Don,t really do guns where I come from.
Anyway enough of me rambling on, this it a great tune really loved the listen.

Nice instrumental Jim, great feel for a road song - that video was something, is that burning wreck always there that time of day?? :)

There are only 12 notes, how hard can it be?....

Quote from: chapperz66 on July 23, 2010, 04:15:14 AMThat is a cool instrumental Jim.  I've never been on the road in question, but from your tune it sounds a lot less depressing than the M25 (the London orbital motorway - or "car park" as it would more accurately be known).

Really enjoyed listening to this.

Paul

I've now watched the youtube video of this and accept that "car park" doesn't only apply to British motorways.

This is f*cking awesome. What a great retro sound and vibe. This is a perfect example of how to capture a particular theme or imagery in music. Everything sits quite far back in the mix, kind of like a car radio as you drift along with your arm leaning on the open window ledge. Or maybe that's just how you tricked my ears. Either way it's a great piece, and it could even have been a bit longer.

I'd heard that NJ was pretty grimy and industrial, but driving out of Maryland towards Atlantic City, I thought it was absolutely beautiful. So many fantastic houses and lush greenery. Atlantic City itself was a different story though, lol.

Thanks Guys!!!

I tried to Keep some of the Guitars far in the Mix.
To give this tune a Kind of far away Vibe. I guess it worked!
Thanks for noticing that Tim.  yes it's amazing how the NJ Turnpike Changes from the Factories and Industrial Look to Total Greenlike Beauty going toward Atlantic City.
Haver a Great week everyone!
