The World Famous N.J. Turnpike!!
If anyone Here Watched That Awesome Show The Sopranos on HBO.
They show Tony Soprano Driving on it at the Start of the Show.
This also Sounds like it could been used for a Sandford and Son type show in the 70's. I think. LOL.
I recorded the Guitars without any type of Percussion at first,So you can Here the Timing of the song Slow Down Here and there. Just like the Turnpike. LOL. Thats Me on the Shaker and a Tin Flower pot holder that I stole from my Wife.
Have a Great Day Everyone.
PS- Exit 8a is where I get Off when I leave the Highway. 2 Minutes from My Home

Good reality check for the wife. Being form Union City, she felt right at home with this one!  Nice locale connection to NJ with that great urban raw blues feel.

oh yea! This really takes me there! I was on it a few times traveling as a kid. This tune has great energy and feels like the trafic...when it's actually flowing. Great road tune, I like the wavering speed and it could definitely have gone down in Sanford and Son, Barney Miller or Good Times. Inner City vibe all the way.

Cool guitar instro Jim!!  I've been on those wonderful highways many times years ago, going to the Jersey Shore~!  Thought i'd escape the traffic out here in Phoenix.....WrOnG...   Enjoyed listening::music to make the commute more enjoyable!

That is a cool instrumental Jim.  I've never been on the road in question, but from your tune it sounds a lot less depressing than the M25 (the London orbital motorway - or "car park" as it would more accurately be known).

Really enjoyed listening to this.

Only been to the New Jersey area once so I don't know whether I've been on that road or not, but the music captures the feel of the picture. Really nice playing without a drum track to lean on, I can nearly hear the car horns and feel the impatience of drivers going home or to work.  Top notch........Willie

Great instrumental piece Jim.
You really captured the feel of cruising down the highway.
I like the guitar work on this song.
You from Jersey, really what exit?  (I know , old joke)   :D
New Jersey is a beautiful state, I have spent time in Cape May and Wildwood,
excellent beaches and nice scenery.
Driving through Jersey I was surprised at all the farm land but I guess thats why they call it the Garden state.
Nice work on the song Jim.

thanks Guys!!!
I am 2 Miles right off of exit 8a on the turnpike.
Right in the Middle. NY and Philly are an Equal Distance away.
Beaches are about 35 to 40 minutes away also.
Atlantic City casinos are about an hour.
NJ has it all but too expensive for a Decent size house
and my taxes are off the Charts!! over 4,000 dollars a year and I live in a townhouse and Don't even own the Land. Oh well.
Have a Great weekend!!!

The highways in my hometown are much simplier - just two lanes, lol... Very fresh and relaxing tune... I can feel that the traffic is well flowing there. Well done, Jim!
