Quote from: Kevin Mammoth on July 06, 2010, 06:32:12 AMJeez Greeny, I don't know how you do it, you seem to be putting out 3 or 4 of these a week!!!

Thanks.

I usually do more songs than that in a week, but they don't all get posted on here!

It is down to a lot of hard work and late nights, but it doesn't seem like effort because I love doing it so much. Joy, madness, obession... whatever it is, it's productive... lol

Thanks. I like to think that I'm representing all the other self-taught, non-technical guitarists out there. I can't read music, and have no knowledge of theory or scales - just a bunch of chords that I've learned over the years. I can't even play barre chords! So I just make the best of what I have. Layering guitars is just about panning and playing something that fits and enhances what's already there. There's no secret or science. So I always think that anyone could do it, and in a lot of cases, way better than I can.

Those suck anyway, so you're not missing much!

I can definitely feel the passion and the effort you put in each and every one of your songs. It seems like time is the one thing we don't have enough of and you manage to use it more wisely than most. I usually do more listening than playing/singing when I record, so before I know it a few hours have gone by and only one track is done.  And then if I try to hurry, I end up with a choppy sounding piece of shit! :P

Sweet tune, I love it.

Magic again Tim. You have a wondeful top hat that you pull these rabbits from.

I love that bass line.  It is pulling me, it is filling me, it is lifting me up...its all great, but that bass is really hammering home for me.  Self taught brilliance.  You know Mozart was self taught too.  Don't know any barre chords, that funny.

Another beauty.  You must have a good few albums worth of quality material by now.
I can only think that you are avoiding fame on purpose.

Instantly memorable...a lovely melody and sonically pleasing! This one sounds to me like R.E.M. jamming with Neil Finn.
