At the cabin today, sun finally back, and I lock myself up and do this  .... This is another side of Zappa for those not so familiar with his work.

Recorded on my Korg D-16. 8 tracks of vocals ... that's it ... not strings or skins on this one ....

Ahhhhh, fantastic bro!! It's funny because this is song is from one of my favorite albums even though it's not that popular. And a wonderful version too!

Frank was such a sucker for 50's music and it really showed in many of his albums, especially this one. Sharlena was another one of my faves - Hell, it was all good!

I'm playing it from cover to cover right now!

I know a magician never reveals his tricks, but I was wondering how you did this...

Are you just naturally tuned? Did you made an instrumental backing track to help you tune?

Did you thought on the harmony of the different voices before recording it, or it just came naturally (e.g. from hearing the background guitar chords)?

I would love to be a SATB myself!
