That's a good tip - thanks ORH. I was wondering if that was possible. I used to put vocals through the drum panning and distortion effects on my old Tascam. You can't beat a bit of trippyness!

Quote from: oldrottenhead on September 08, 2008, 03:43:27 AMdid you know you can change the effects for the inbuilt mic, or any input, to the guitar effects

That's right. But not just guitar effects on any input. You can use any effects bank with any input. I've recently discovered that the Enhancer effect from the MIC bank does a nice job of making my solidbody guitar's humbuckers sound like single-coil pickups, somewhat like a Fender Stratocaster. Too bad the Enhancer isn't available in the GTR bank so I could combine it with other guitar effects. I wish we didn't have to deal with banks and algorithms and could instead use any effects in any combination.

By the way, you can also use the insert effects with the drums by changing the insert point (see pages 64 and 65 in the Micro BR manual, 3rd edition). This can produce some pretty wild drum sounds.

Ok, here we go!!!

I have added a bass line to glue all the instruments, a basic one with some subtle fills according to the guitars and others free.
The Bass is a cheap one and the preset is a custom made from the clean amp with metal speakers and compression.
I hope you like it!!

Feel free to move the post to the collaboration subject, i don't know how to do it.

Thanks Prive! That's the first time I've ever heard anything other than myself on one of my songs!

I love what you've done - it's really added something, and the closing coda sounds awesome now.

I don't know how to move this to the collaboration thread either, but I'm sure one of the mods can.

I'm going to post this new version on my music site. What's your name so that I can give you a credit on there? (message me if you don't want to post it on the forum...).

Nice work!

Great song as ever, love the sound of that 12, and the bassline really added to it as well. Great stuff both.
