I admire anyone who can pour their heart out lin a lyric like this. Add that lyric to a strong melody and a beautifully crafted chord progression & you have a real winner. This is brilliant!

OTD Bump No 2.

I'm at home in lock down, watching the Aussie Rules Football on mute and having a look around the site.

I am amazed by the skill required to produce such a polished performance on display on this recording.

The early comments are also interesting. They are a time capsule for many of us who started off here together more than a decade ago using the tiny MBR recorder.

Whilst some of us have moved on to other recording techniques, Tim has continued with the MBR. I guess, once you have mastered the tools, you can focus more on the music.

Great song! Glad I found it and glad I bumped it.

pretty good using just the onboard mic for the acoustic and some backing vocals...I think you really know how to get alot out of your equipment...kind of like a great coach that can take some players and beat better teams just because he is such a great coach...and I suppose you wouldn't be much of a Brit if you hadn't had a bout with the booze?  I don't know, maybe it is just a stereotype... and just for anyone who might care... my grandfather came to Canada at 9 and then the US in late teens (and both were by himself), from England.  My grandmother moved from England to Canada at 16 where after a time she met my grandpa and married...then moved to the US...so I am mostly Brit! ha...
