I did an earlier post a bit of blues thing with loops and samples taking
a rest from my korg. i decided to throw this together using loops and
samples from my korg. and computer.i tried to embellish this with various
guitar s and organs. hard to fnd the right sound.but i think this is a go .
computer music is a punch in method utilizing loops and sampling so
can get to b a challenge  hope ulike this . trying to get all kind s of music
on this site. so i dedicate this to the great CARLOS SATANA for his influecne

PS. in the early 60 s the rightous brothers did a song called latin lupe de lupe

Hi;
I really like this!  It's a great jam groove.  I do think it needs something playing lead like perhaps a lead guitar (in the style of Carlos would sound great).

I believe "Little Latin Lupe Lu" in the 60s was by The Kingsmen (same group that did "Louie Louie").  The Righteous Bros. may have done a version of this but the one I remember was The Kingsmen.

EDIT-On the YouTube link I saw the version by the Righteous Bros. I didn't know they did that one, but they did a pretty nice job with it.

 :)

Hi Neil, great arrangement and playing. I've just banged my knee doing a bossa round my desk, infectious beat, dangerous but infectious.  Willie   ;D

"Little Latin Lupe Lu" was written by Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers. Their recording reached #49 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1963. The cover version by The Kingsmen reached #46 on Billboard in 1964. The most successful cover was by Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels, reaching #17 in 1966.

This is great fun Neil, I like this style of work. Kind of musical cut ups with your own musical overlays. It's a great sound and I love the Hammond-y organ you are using on this. Nice soloing.

Cheers,

Nigel
