I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm almost as proud of my album cover designs as the songs themselves. I've always been interested in cover art since I was a kid, and for many years, I wanted to do that for a job (I still would if I could!  :))

I think it would be really good to share our cover art. Maybe this could even be a permanent thread or have it's own forum section?

I'd love to see what you all get up to!  :)

They're not exactly masterpieces but here's a couple.

Is that red car driving down the road On The Village That Time Forgot a Vauxhall FC 101 Victor?  I can't quite make it out.  It was the first car I ever owned and the only one I ever made a profit on.  I bought it for £40 and sold it a year later for £50.  3 speed column change.  What a dog.

It might be! Does anyone else on here know? Looks like an old Escort to me, but I don't know much about these things, lol

The red car parked up with someone in the passenger seat is definately an Escort, but the one driving away from the viewer looks like it might be a bit bigger and could be an old Vauxhall.  My one was an estate and you could get a full Marshall stack laid down in the back of it.  Of course it hardly moved then but since the brakes were so bad that was no bad thing.

I've gone all nostalgic.....

Oh yes... that one is bigger. I thought it might be a Ford Zodiac, but the squarer looking ones were a bit later than this photo. Probably!

The album is all about nostalgia. It's weird seeing old photos like this and Carry On films etc from the sixties and seventies where there are hardly any cars on the road.
