Well, I racked my brains thinking of what song to do for plugged in fest.  I decided to try a traditional Irish folk song, "She Moved Through The Fair".  Most of you British Isles dudes will know this song.  I really love this crazy song, it really gets inside the head.  This song is always done acoustic so it seemed a good candidate for Electric Guitars.  All electric guitars, played through my microBR.

When this first started I thought it was going to be "over the hills and far away" The zeppelin quality is there. This is a stunning cover of a song I've never heard, but am going to look up very shortly Dave!

Awesome composition here. Absolutely stunning.

Nice job, Dave. And a great idea to cover a traditional folk song. I must have a look through "Rise Up Singing" and other folk song books in my collection.

By the way, it's interesting to read the Led Zeppelin comments. While I was looking for a video for the jukebox (found a lovely version by Sinéad O'Connor), I stumbled across the fact that Led Zeppelin recorded an instrumental version of this song under the title "White Summer". Allegedly, Page stole his DADGAD arrangement/adaptation from Davey Graham.

When I went looking for inspiration for this song I found this, this is the version I like best.  What a song, what a singer.
