micro-delay at punch in point on BR1200

Hi All.
I'm back again for help with a topic i posted a couple of months ago ...I got some very helpful advice from some of you guys last time but still experience difficulties with a "micro-delay" at auto punch in point on my BR1200....I have tried various takes and played through from up to 30 seconds before punch point but still hear a tiny gap. Can you please advise me re. any tips or tricks to make the auto punch-in more smooth and natural sounding...is there a download available to smooth out this glitch??
