Tharek's Sunrise

In my world
I see it so differently

But I know
The big picture's over my head

I want to fly
But I'm nailed to the ground

Snap your pictures
And follow the sounds

You want to break my body
You want to break my mind
You want to tear my soul to the ground
And leave me far behind

I can't remember
When I closed my eyes
And took a silent picture of you
To remember the good times

You want to break my body
You want to break my mind
You want to tear my soul to the ground
And leave me far behind

I can't remember
When I closed my eyes
And took a silent picture of you
To remember the good times

You are on a serious songwriting roll Mark.  This is a deadly song, atmosphere to burn.  I could listen to this all day, it is so smooth and flowing.  I really like your guitar solo, thats a nice tone and mood there.  This is a pro song all the way Mark.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Hey, Mark!  is that your new acoustic doing the rythm?  A song for Tharek!!!  This site's music just keeps growing exponentialy...  I had some down time while working in Delta Junction - took my BR900 with me and recorded two songs (wish had an mbr) - now need to get busy and finish them~ have next week with no travel, so no excuses....

Keep them coming!!!

Gary F

Cool tune Mark.

You've got a great vocal style on this one man. The harmonies are really cool.
It's definitely got that distinct "Launched" sound to it man.

Another winner in my books!
It ain't pretty being easy.

Great song, especially this is a song to a friend!! So, beautiful...

I also really like the music! It sounds very indie pop song. And I must say you have produced this very well. Chords and the sound of your guitar/bass works well together. Your voice is perfect on this. Excellent job, Mark!
