A thread that started out emotional and ended with ORH doing pelvic thrusts...

It is with heavy heart that I type these words, we thought we would ride the musical wind forever on here, but it has come crashing down to earth.  This site means a whole lot to me.  It was the first forum I ever pulled the trigger and joined (hard to believe but true), since then, I have checked out many, many similiar sites for potential joining, and never in all my internet travels did I find a site that suited me as much as this place, I tried a few, but would always abandon them in time (except for Tony's awesome little site which always feels like I am hanging around in his basement, cold floors and all)  all slowly lost my interest, but this one I kept coming back to day after day, song after song.  I have missed my sons 6th birthday because I just had to get that song finished and posted.  I have been hit on the side of my head more than once for not getting off the site and tend to my home chores.  I have seen my dog go without supper on more than one night due to this site, hell I have even forgotten my sons supper a few times because of being glued to this damn place.  I considered buying a lap-top just so I could be on here while on the shitter (contemplated, not actually pulled the trigger).  My grass is longer in the summer, the snow higher on my driveway in the winter because of this site.  I shall call the number of the therapist that my wife gave me a while back, specialized in addiction counselling (thanks dear).  I may even get around to taking the garbage out now.  I loose a fantastic site that I have grown to love so very much, but in exchange I gain back my boring mundane life, thanks Pedro, thanks a lot.  LOL

PS: some of the above was exagerated, like missing my sons birthday for example, I was in actual fact only one hour late.

Lets have a big farewell party folks, break out the red ale.  Crying into my beer over here in Atlantic Canada.

I am very privilged to have met all you great people, you guys/gals have enriched my life big time.

I'll lock your account once a week, so you can mow your grass if you like! twice a week just to make sure the dogs survive.

Very heartfelt Dave I couldn't express myself any better.

Well said Dave - maybe a bit funny - which God only knows, we all can use a little humor right about now - but yet we all can relate how much time we spend on here mingling with one another, collaborating, socializing, AND enjoying the best damn music out there!!!

I'll be crying in my beer tonight.............
