Recording additional tracks to a 2 track stereo mix?

I've been using my Mirco BR for writing, then transferring to Sonar for editing and adding more tracks.

My question is:
After creating a quick mix down in Sonar, am I able export the song back into the BR in either a mp3 or wave format..... THEN record additional tracks back in the BR?

example:

MBR -track 1 = Left side stereo from Sonar, track 2 = right side stereo from Sonar,  allowing me to add/record on open tracks 3-4 on the MBR, playing along with tracks 1 and 2?

Yes you can do this
pg 99 of thr manual describes copy wav/mp3 to MBR-then it can be put in a song
