Hi,

I need a lead guitar for the middle bit of this track.

The tuning is down a half step.  Here are the chords and lyrics.

G         A        C                  D
Let me go,  before I have to stay
G               A               C                    D
It's getting late,  and I must be on my way
C                  D                   G                 D      Em                     C
If she should find out I was here it would be all over between us
            D                   G    D
So let e go while I still can

G               A             C                     D
You're very beautiful,  this I think you know
G                  A                       C                      D
And if I don't leave here now I don't think I can go
  C                  D                  G  D       Em
But I love that girl too much to give it all up for one night
C             D                  G    G7
So let me go while I still can

C        D                     G    G7
Do I remember?  Yes I do
C              D                       G     G7
That I was once in love with you
C                  D                           G            D      Em                  C
But now I've found someone who loves me like I used to love you
                 D                       G
And I don't want to lose that girl

G         A      C                   D
Let me go before I have to stay
G               A             C                    D
It's getting late and I must be on my way
C                  D                   G                 D      Em                   C
If she should find out I was here it would be all over between us
                 D                       G
And I don't want to lose that girl
C                  D                   G                 D       Em                   C
If she should find out I was here it would be all over between us
                 D                       G
And I don't want to lose that girl

Downloaded this from your Soundclick page, but for some reason when I import the mp3 into my MBR it won't let me then import to new tracks, 'cos I was gonna stick some lap steel on the intro and middle for you. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but have managed to do it in the past on other stuff. Feel free to e-mail me the file if you wanna and I'll try it again or maybe 64guitars could help me out?

I really loved this  8) 8) 8)
so I have done a little public audition ( the bit round the guitar break)
I saw the lead a little bit more Slashish than country :o
Anyway give me a shout if it is OK and I'll work it up ;)
It's no biggie if you see it in a different direction
Cheers Mike

Wow.  That is a cool lead.  Could you email me the separate track so it could be mixed in?  I'm going to leave this up to the guy who's producing/engineering the track as to what goes in.  I'm waiting with baited breath to hear the slide Henwrench has running around in his head.

I wish I could sing better or had a pitch correction thing 'cause I would love to have had better vox on this.

My friend wants harmonies and I'm gonna give them a shot on Saturday.

I do like your lead playing there.  It DOES sound more Slash than country.  Whoever gets on/helps with  the track is gonna get co-writing credits for whatever that's worth.

Thanks 48.  Nice work there.

What happens when you try to import it? Is there an error message?

Did you put the file in the Micro BR's "MP3" folder? If you put it anywhere else, it won't show up in the list of files available to import to a BR track.

There are detailed instructions on this page for importing an MP3 file. It describes two different methods - using only the Micro BR, and using the BR Wave Converter. Try both methods. If neither works, give us more details on what's happening, including any error messages.

This is pretty cool. I'd like to take a stab at this if you're still looking for more takes. I just got to work, so it won't be until later tonight though ;)

When I press 'utility' the only options I get are SNG or INI
When I press SNG all I get is INF   NAM    ERS, not TRK.... which I beleive I need!  ???
