Hello,

First the manual at page 72 seems to imply (in the title) that you could choose not to select reverb, I still don't know how.

Is there a way to turn it off?

I'm confused by the three different ways to access reverb.

1. Pressing "effects" twice leads to the reverb controls, including "Level" .
or
2. Pressing "input"leads to a screen with a "Rv: " which also affects reverb level.

3. Pressing any track and scrolling right leads to a "Track Reverb"screen. Fortunately this number is in sync with the one at 2. so I gather they mean the same.

Questions:

What is the best way to turn off reverb? (best meaning it will remain off no matter what other changes I do, including creating a new song)

Why if I change the number in 1. the number in 2. does not change accordingly?

Which is the "real" reverb level?

Whatever the previous answers, what is the most logical way to manage reverb in the Micro BR assuming you want to use some reverb?

Thanks for any help...

The RV setting in the input window is for the signal going into the MICRO BR when you are recording. To record "dry", set this to zero and either turn the effects to OFF, or set to LOC - INPUT<REC DRY>. Turning the effects OFF will give you a "dry" signal to the headphone out. Using the LOC - INPUT<REC DRY> will send the effected signal to the headphone out, (but the signal is being recorded "dry"). You can always go back later and sample various effects to a "dry" track(s) by using the LOC setting in the effects screen (scroll > to access). This probably sounds confusing, but try it and it will be pretty obvious.

The track reverb level is for playback only. If you want no reverb on that track(s), set to zero.

Thank you. That response did make me dizzy, but I'll follow it slowly and experiment.
