Wish You Were Here Cover

Hi guys....
I'm DaN, from Brazil... Back in 2001 I decided to make some recordings of covers songs I like...
Never published them anywhere though.
Back in that time I didn't have any quality equipment to record. So, I used an old Yamaha acoustic nylon guitar with the 1st string missing and bought a US$5 PC mic (sound quality like the ones that today come with a headset). I recorded two tracks (guitar and vox) in Creative Labs Wave editor and after that, layed them in Sonar 3. Since I have no idea how to master, that's the result I got back in 2001. I used the EQ and some effects in Sonar 3 in the guitar and vox tracks...
Since the mic was very poor quality, I had to put it inside my guitar in order to capture the full sound.
I now got myself a BR900, and I hope I can get used to that equipment in order to improve the quality of my recordings.
Forgive me for my bad guitar technique.

Hey Tommy, thanks a lot. I never recorded myself with quality equipment before and I'm kinda scared to start... A lot of new vocabulary to learn, skills to master... I hope I can get it all to work, since now I got some good gear to use (new guitars, mic and the BR900).
