I got a chance today to let rip on this one today.  Plugged in my Epi Sheraton and off I went, like the other takes of this backer, one take all the way through, damn thats a long backer, no fixing mistakes.  I had a bum chord and heard the buzz a few times but I was so into it I couldn't stop.  I left the noise in, makes it sound "live".   ::)

Listened to this on the otherside!!  I still think it is a great job!!  Lots of action going on!!

I just got a BOSS Micro BR, still trying to figure it out, and stumbled onto this site and listened to your tune. Great! Now how did you do it? I think I hear a drum track (which Micro BR track?), but where did you get the I-IV-V rhythm track from?  I'm just breaking into digital recording (my 25 year old dual cassette recorder crapped out), so I have a lot to learn.  Been playing acoustic and electric for many years and now want to start recoding some stuff.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Some folks are making backer tracks but most are found on various sites elsewhere.
They are imported from the MP3 to two stereo tracks and away you go adding accompaniment, mixing and exporting. A really nice quick fix.
Importing MP3? = Utility,TRK,cursor>, IMP, select the MP3 (That you have already downloaded to the MP3 area), Next, Import to (Change to)TR1&2 with the Value buttons

Great job for one take Dave on a very long backer. Lovely tones from the Epi, very enjoyable groove here.

Cheers,

Nigel
