It's still Christmas Day here in North America (although it just passed 5 minutes ago where I live), so here's my Yulefest contribution - it's a medley of Beatles songs from their Christmas fan club releases - starting with 'Gary Crimble' and then moves on to 'Christmas Time (Is Here Again), followed by 'When Christmas Time Is Over' - I hope you all enjoy it!

Until next time: Gary Crimble, Merry Rudolf, and a very new year!  :)

Thanks everybody for your kind words - it really means a lot to me coming from such talented people as yourselves! I'm trying to ramp up my posts, so I'm giving fair warning...  ;)

I neglected to mention in my original post that this was recorded as three separate songs in the MicroBR in the order each part appears in the finished song. This main part of the song is the first one where I really was able to work the rhythm arrangement as I wanted it, and I learned a lot about how to use this feature in the MBR. Once the parts were all recorded, I brought them into Audition to edit them together and add the vinyl and wind sound effects.

edit: added the mp3 that was here to the original post - cuthbert

Big time groovy, Cuth! Very well put together - I love it. Smooth changes and excellent mixing.

If you are linking from Reverb Nation, you should be able edit the first post and do the same thing - Then you can erase the original upload if you want.

Peace,

Mark

Thanks, Mark!  ;D

In the first post, I uploaded the mp3 directly to this site as part of the post. I can modify the post, but it appears that I can only remove the mp3 in the modify page - not sure if I can actually replace the mp3 after removing it?

I uploaded it to Reverbnation as a backup and posted the link - but it would be nice if the mp3 attached to the original post can be replaced.
