This is a my good friend Peter doing a cover of black is the colour by Christie Moore.

It was captured at a wee get together a few of us had a few nights ago, no run through, he just picked up the guitar, I pressed record and he played/sang. we didnt even have head phones with us so I didnt get to hear it back till I got back home, I wasnt sure how it had turned out.

Peter is thinking of getting a BR now, and joining the forum.

I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I do.

Cheers

Ronnie

Excellent! I hope Peter gets a BR soon so we can hear some more of his playing and singing. And maybe something from the two of you together?

Thanks for the comments. I will pass them along

Osckilo, this is all my mate Peter, both the playing and singing, my only contribution was asking him to do it and pressing the record button.

Apart from it being a great song beautifully sung, I was very impressed with the recording quality, there was a few guys there that night and other stuff recorded has the usual back ground stuff of glasses being clinked, lighters being lit etc, and the BR was just laying on the coffee table, with one of the little sony mics, there was no real thought put into the setup, I had no headphones to monitor any levels etc, when Peter started this one everyone just sat back and listened. It worked.

Cheers
